Hey there, I'm Danielle!

My friends call me Dan, I wanted to create this platform to showcase my work, my business ventures and give you a little insight into my life. Sharing tips for hairstylists and clients which will also soon be used to launch some education I would love share, one of my passions is to help fellow artists to excel.
If we all help each other to grow, our industry can only get better.

I am a girl boss and mama, an artist whose dream is to spread beauty wherever I go.

A hair stylist obsessed with editorial hair, owner of Wildflower Studio and co-creator of  hair accessories brand Moon & Mai, with my mam Martina.

I spend my mornings chasing the sunrise and drinking ceremonial cacao, with a fresh dip in the sea and spending time with my gorgeous family.

Girl Boss, HAirstylist, Educator

From such a young age, I was the child that would be braiding someones hair or practising ideas on barbies. I learned to knit quite young and made some tweeks to my clothes so that I could be different from the crowd. That was who I am, and this couldn't be changed.

It has always been in me to be adventurous and spontaneous in my life, whether that was jumping on a plane to go somewhere exotic, or taking the huge jump in my career to go out on my own and become my own boss.

I began working in the hairdressing industry while in school at 15 and through the years have been able to work in brilliant salons with beautiful humans, some of them are life long friends. It was because of the opportunities and my bubbling passion that people who were mentoring me pushed me to be the best I could. I will be forever Grateful for those.

After working for 4 years as a stylist behind the chair, my love was bursting for the eagerness I had to explore the world of fashion. Being fully booked back to back with clients in a salon made trying to book last minute editorials and shows for fashion week too difficult, I made the big step of renting a little room for me to work and do clients but also have the freedom to do shoots and weddings as I wished.

This led me to work with incredible hair artists and work on shows like Dolce & Gabanna, Prada, Louis Vuitton and so many more. Between this and entering awards, I was always and still do, try to excel and push myself in the hairdressing world as much as possible.

That little room, developed in to something I literally have to pinch myself to accept today. It organically grew in to this amazing little oasis called Wildflower (a free spirit uncultivated by the main stream) with my best friends by my side. We have honestly created something magical, that you can only feel when you are there. A team of 15 beautiful souls that I can help nurture and push to do whatever they want in this life. with no boundaries.

This gem that we have built really blossomed from the idea that Craig and I would have a baby (meaning we needed more people to work there) little did we know, Harrison would bring not only the biggest bundle of joy to our lives, but also this beautiful community of souls together.

My motto is, 'You can literally do anything in life, once you put your mind to it' this has been my driving force to achieving my goals and whilst the struggle to be the best mam, girlfriend, boss, hairstylist,  and friend, all at the same time can be really challenging, it is worth it, for the fun and love of it all.

This last year has taught me to be more mindful with my time. Enjoy the little things in my day and try to be as present as possible (although this can sometimes be impossible to me)

I have such a passion for an aesthetically pleasing life, whether that is hair, art, interior design, fashion or nature, it is my mission to make everything in life (even the mundane) beautiful.

I hope this gives you a little insight in to my world.
